About the role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced tax lawyer to move into a strategic Knowledge Development Lawyer position within a growing Corporate Tax & Incentives practice. Working closely with partners, lawyers, and key stakeholders, you will lead knowledge initiatives, training, innovation, and thought‑leadership activities that support the continued growth and success of the team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the knowledge plan for the Corporate Tax & Incentives team.
- Lead knowledge‑sharing initiatives and promote a collaborative learning culture.
- Facilitate technical know‑how and legal update meetings.
- Create and maintain precedents, practice notes, guidance materials, toolkits, clause banks and other resources.
- Monitor legal and market developments across corporate tax, private capital, investment funds and asset‑management structures.
- Produce current‑awareness updates, technical bulletins and knowledge communications.
- Design and deliver legal training programmes for lawyers at all levels.
- Support fee earners with technical queries, legal research and knowledge resources.
- Manage the legal training budget and collaborate with research and information services teams.
- Contribute to business transformation, innovation and operational‑improvement projects, including AI and legal‑technology adoption.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE gained in private practice.
- Strong experience advising on corporate tax matters in advisory and transaction support environments.
- Demonstrable interest in knowledge management, legal training, innovation or professional support work.
- Experience developing precedents, training programmes and legal know‑how resources.
- Excellent legal research skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and online legal research platforms.
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proactive, organised and collaborative approach with enthusiasm for innovation, AI and continuous improvement.
