Tax Manager (6-Month Fixed-Term) – Fintech

About the role

This 6‑month fixed‑term opportunity is with a high‑growth global fintech based in London. You will lead corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and partner with senior stakeholders on tax initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UK and international corporate tax compliance and reporting.
• Oversee work of external tax advisors, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
• Prepare current and deferred tax calculations and US GAAP tax provisions.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax authorities on audits and enquiries.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess business impact.
• Support international tax projects such as transfer pricing, new entity launches, and process improvements.
• Enhance tax controls, governance, and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and CTA‑qualified tax professional.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate tax compliance experience in practice, industry, or both.
• Strong background in financial services, preferably fintech, banking or payments.
• Proven experience managing UK and US/international corporate tax compliance.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP tax accounting and corporate tax reporting.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £80,000‑£130,000 pro‑rata per year.
