Tax Manager – AWS EMEA

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Tax Manager to join the AWS EMEA Tax team, based in London or Luxembourg. The role provides corporate tax advisory for the AWS cloud business across multiple European jurisdictions, supporting expansions, new programmes and ad‑hoc projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate tax requirements for country expansions and new AWS programme launches.
• Provide tax guidance to the business while building strong relationships to ensure compliance.
• Support ad‑hoc projects such as restructurings or transactions involving AWS.
• Research international tax issues and collaborate with external advisers.
• Engage outside tax advisors to support tax‑related projects.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a large public accounting firm or a multinational corporate tax department.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Tax Adviser, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience with tax authorities.
• Demonstrable advisory experience in EU indirect tax and exposure to multinational cross‑border transactions.
