Tax Manager – Insurance (Lloyd's Syndicate)

About the role
Our client, a well‑regarded Lloyd’s syndicate, is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and accounting activities, ensuring timely reporting and full compliance with Lloyd’s, HMRC and other regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead tax compliance and accounting functions for the syndicate.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, including VAT and Lloyd’s specific returns.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and coordinate with the Group Tax Team on US tax provisioning.
- Support the transformation of the tax function, including migration to a new General Ledger.
Required profile
- CTA qualified with relevant experience in tax accounting and compliance.
- Experience working in the London insurance market is desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Clear, well‑structured written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and with external advisors.
