Tax Semi-Senior – Uckfield

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Semi‑Senior to join our client’s growing tax department in Uckfield. This permanent role will involve delivering high‑quality tax services to a diverse portfolio of business‑service clients while supporting your professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal tax returns for a variety of clients.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and meet filing deadlines.
• Liaise with clients to collect tax‑related information and respond to queries.
• Identify tax‑saving opportunities and advise clients accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of client documentation and correspondence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes and systems.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or progress towards one (AAT, ATT or ACCA).
• Experience working within a tax department or similar role in the business services sector.
• Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive, solution‑focused approach to problem‑solving.
