Tax Semi‑Senior – Accountancy Practice

About the role

We are looking for an ATT‑qualified Tax Semi‑Senior to join our independent accountancy practice in Gants Hill. You will work closely with the directors and the wider team, supporting a diverse client portfolio while contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax computations and year‑end accounts for a range of clients.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Support clients with Making Tax Digital implementation.
• Provide tax and general business advice and develop long‑term client relationships.
• Help improve the practice’s systems, processes and day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• ATT qualification preferred; alternatively, at least 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Organised, hands‑on and commercially aware.
• Interest in enhancing systems, efficiency and technology.
