About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join a busy and growing accountancy practice in Bishop Auckland. This role offers the chance to work closely with partners and a supportive tax team, delivering high‑quality tax compliance services and assisting clients with HMRC enquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and processing personal and/or corporate tax returns.
- Supporting other members of the tax team.
- Assisting partners with a range of tax compliance matters.
- Handling HMRC enquiries and liaising with clients.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a tax‑focused role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance requirements.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Required skills
- Tax compliance expertise.
- Familiarity with HMRC processes.
