Tea Mixologist – Part‑time Retail Role

About the role

We create a fun, interactive and exceptional customer experience by mixing tea‑based drinks and sharing our passion for unique blends. You’ll work on the shop floor, handling sales, sampling, and the everyday tasks of a retail environment. It’s a TEAriffic role that combines creativity with classic retail duties.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Bird & Blend teas, meeting store sales targets.
• Handle till transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow store procedures including deliveries, stocktakes and replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Support sustainability goals in line with the company’s B‑Corp commitments.
• Engage customers with samples in‑store, outdoors and at events.
• Assist with opening, closing and event setup as needed.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑facing experience in retail or hospitality.
• Enthusiastic brand ambassador with a genuine love for tea.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and professionalism.
• Flexible availability for varying shifts, weekends and evenings.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer happiness.
