Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages

About the role

Stockland Green School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join its supportive secondary school team. You will play a key part in delivering high‑quality language education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in one or more modern foreign languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German).
• Inspire students to develop a love for languages and cultural understanding.
• Plan and differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities.
• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to ensure all learners reach their potential.
• Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities, trips, and extracurricular events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in modern foreign languages.
• Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for language learning.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to raising standards and achieving the best outcomes for all students.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to the school community.
