At Randstad Education we are recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants for a variety of roles across Chester and surrounding areas, offering both flexible day‑to‑day supply and longer‑term placements.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to boost confidence and progress.
• Provide tailored support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) using creative strategies.
• Partner with class teachers and other professionals to review student progress and organise classroom activities.
• Assist with lunch and break duties to ensure a safe and enjoyable school day.
• Prioritise student well‑being by reporting any concerns directly to the SENCo.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in an education setting or a similar youth‑support role.
• Proven experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
• Enhanced Child DBS check and EWC Registration (or willingness to obtain both).
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is highly desirable.
