About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Graduate to join our secondary school in West London as a Teaching Assistant. This full‑time, long‑term position starts in September and offers hands‑on experience supporting Key Stages 3 and 4 English lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Support classroom teaching across KS3 and KS4 English curricula.
- Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group literacy intervention sessions.
- Assist students in improving reading, writing, comprehension and analytical skills.
- Help with lesson preparation, classroom management and resource organisation.
- Collaborate with experienced teachers to raise student attainment.
Required profile
- Degree in English, English Literature, English Language or a closely related subject.
- Genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, patient and enthusiastic attitude.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
