About the role
Veritas Education is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children in nurseries and primary schools across Lancashire. The positions are flexible, covering day‑to‑day supply, short‑term, long‑term and permanent placements, allowing you to match work with your lifestyle.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom and one‑to‑one support for pupils, including those with special educational needs.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, delivery and classroom management.
- Support small‑group interventions and individual learning activities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Passion for supporting learning and development.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Reliability, flexibility and enthusiasm.
