Teaching Assistant for Primary Year 4 (3 days/week)

About the role

This temporary, three‑day‑a‑week position supports a large Year 4 class in a primary school located in Weaverham, Cheshire. You will work on‑site from Wednesday to Friday, providing classroom assistance and targeted interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver general class support and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide small‑group and one‑to‑one interventions, particularly for SEND pupils.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help manage classroom dynamics.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored support plans.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a school setting.
• Commitment to continue in the role into the next academic year.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (passport or birth certificate).
• Ability to provide a CV covering ten years of education or employment.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to undergo the check (cost reimbursed).
