About the role

This full‑time position (6.5 hours per day, Monday‑Friday) starts in September and provides one‑to‑one support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with additional needs in a primary school in Preston.

Key responsibilities

Deliver personalised 1:1 assistance to a KS2 pupil, supporting academic, social and emotional development.
Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO and the wider school team.
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages confidence and progress.

Required profile

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
Previous experience in a school setting (desirable).
Proven experience supporting children with additional needs.
Patient, caring, adaptable with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Committed to helping pupils succeed academically and personally.
