About the role
We are supporting a large primary school in Newham, London, looking for a Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 2. The role involves providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with autism and other additional learning needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted 1:1 assistance to students with autism and related needs.
- Facilitate small‑group learning activities to reinforce classroom instruction.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons for diverse learners.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary or SEN setting.
- Experience working with children who have autism and speech‑language requirements.
- Warm, nurturing attitude with patience and calmness.
- Ability to thrive in a large team environment and adapt to daily changes.
