Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Qualified) – Primary School

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑regarded primary school in Bexley to hire a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant. The role starts in September 2026 and runs on a term‑time only basis, providing vital support to teachers and pupils across the primary age range.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and reinforcing learning objectives.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to support academic progress.
• Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence.
• Contribute to assessment, monitoring and reporting of pupil progress.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.

Required profile

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for child development.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
