Teaching Assistant (Maths Graduate) – London

About the role

We are seeking a recent maths graduate to join an outstanding all‑girls school in central London as a teaching assistant. This full‑time role starts in September and offers the chance to support pupils in mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 while gaining valuable classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering maths lessons and reinforcing concepts.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils needing extra help.
• Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
• Undertake general teaching assistant duties, including classroom management and pastoral support.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in mathematics or a closely related field.
• Strong enthusiasm for education and supporting young learners.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of the UK maths curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4.
