Teaching Assistant – Part‑time Mornings (Temporary)

About the role

Join a welcoming primary school in Great Eccleston as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils during the morning sessions. This temporary, part‑time position runs from September 2026 until at least the October half‑term, offering a supportive environment for anyone passionate about early years education.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pupils with learning activities and classroom tasks.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
• Provide individual and small‑group support as required.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
