About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Bolton. Opportunities are available for day‑to‑day supply work as well as longer‑term placements, offering a varied experience where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with daily learning activities
- Work with individuals and small groups
- Help pupils stay focused and engaged
- Provide support with reading, writing and mathematics
- Assist with classroom organisation
- Support positive behaviour
- Help pupils develop confidence and independence
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people
- Patient and supportive approach
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Professional attitude
- Genuine interest in education
