Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Cheshire East)

About the role
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support primary school classes across Cheshire East. You will work alongside the class teacher to help deliver high‑quality education and foster a positive learning environment for young children.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
- Prepare classroom materials and resources.
- Provide one‑to‑one support for pupils who need extra help.
- Monitor and record student progress.
- Supervise children during break times and lunchtimes.
Required profile
- Some experience working with children.
- Resilience and confidence to manage challenging behaviour.
- Positive and effective communication skills.
- Ability to promote independence in pupils.
- Active and enthusiastic about participating in varied activities.
