Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

A well‑established 3‑form entry primary school in Slough is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2026. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and may cover EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general classroom support across early years and key stages.
• Assist individual pupils or small groups with learning activities.
• Deliver targeted literacy and mathematics interventions.
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 or small‑group basis.
• Help with classroom organisation, resource preparation and behaviour management.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENCO.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a UK primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children in a classroom environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, flexible and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
