Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Mornings, Part‑time)

About the role
Join a welcoming primary school in Wyre as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils during the morning sessions, five days a week. This temporary, part‑time position starts in September 2026 and runs at least until the October half‑term.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with their learning and classroom activities.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
- Provide individual and small‑group assistance as needed.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
