Teaching Assistant – Primary School (North London)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary‑school classrooms across North London. The role starts in September 2026 and is full‑time, offering long‑term placement in mainstream, SEND or specialist settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support for pupils with special educational needs, including autism and behavioural challenges.
• Support learning activities, classroom management and pastoral care.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, families and external professionals to promote pupil progress.

Required profile

• UK school experience as a Teaching Assistant or recent graduate eager to gain experience.
• Passionate, patient and proactive attitude towards supporting children.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Commitment to full‑time, long‑term work from September.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
