About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Oldham. The role is full‑time and starts as soon as possible, supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Key responsibilities
- Provide targeted support to SEND pupils in KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
- Assist the class teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Help adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs.
- Monitor pupil progress and report observations to the teacher.
Required profile
- Experience supporting SEND children is an advantage.
- Compassionate, proactive and dedicated to helping children thrive.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
