Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Redbridge, London)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school in Redbridge, East London. This permanent, full‑time position starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to work closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their academic and social potential.

Key responsibilities

• Assist class teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Support small groups and individual learners across the primary curriculum.
• Prepare and organise teaching resources and learning materials.
• Encourage positive behaviour and monitor pupil progress.
• Provide additional support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure inclusive learning.

Required profile

• Patient, enthusiastic and committed to children’s development.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Previous experience in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
