Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Stevenage)

About the role

We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a Good‑rated primary school in Stevenage. You will work alongside an experienced teacher, supporting pupils in daily lessons and helping them achieve their personal and academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work with small groups or individual pupils to build confidence and improve learning outcomes.
• Adapt activities and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Celebrate achievements and support pupils’ social and emotional development.
