About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join primary schools in Blacon, Chester on a flexible, short‑term basis. You will work alongside teachers to support pupils’s learning and wellbeing in a classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with delivering lessons and managing small‑group activities.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour among pupils.
- Help children stay engaged and motivated during lessons.
- Promote safeguarding practices and support children’s wellbeing at all times.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
- Good understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Positive, patient and proactive attitude.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
