Teaching Assistant – Primary & Secondary Schools in East London

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary and secondary schools in East London. The role involves working closely with teachers and students to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Help pupils stay engaged and make progress in their learning.
• Support children with diverse academic, behavioural and additional learning needs.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable but not essential).
• Positive, patient and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, professionalism and willingness to learn.
• Genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
