Teaching Assistant – Psychology Graduates – Sep 2026

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Psychology graduates to join primary schools in Haringey as Teaching Assistants from September 2026. You will work alongside teachers, SENCOs and specialist staff to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including those with SEND.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEND, working 1:1 and in small intervention groups.
- Assist class teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and pupil independence.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
Required profile
- Recent graduate with a degree in Psychology.
- Enthusiastic about working with children in a primary school setting.
- Willingness to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs and SEMH.
- Commitment to professional development in education.
