Teaching Assistant roles in Kensington & Chelsea primary schools

About the role

Exciting teaching assistant positions are available across primary schools in the Kensington & Chelsea borough. Roles cover Early Years Foundation Stage support, one‑to‑one SEN assistance and classroom support for KS1/KS2. Start dates are immediate or shortly after Easter 2026, with both full‑time and part‑time options.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with lesson delivery, preparing resources and supporting classroom activities.
• Work with pupils individually or in small groups, providing tailored learning support.
• Support classroom organisation, including setting up materials and maintaining a safe environment.
• Provide one‑to‑one SEN support or EYFS classroom assistance as required.

Required profile

• Experience working with children is a plus; calm, enthusiastic and reliable attitude required.
• Ability to commit to 3‑5 days per week, with flexibility for full‑time or part‑time schedules.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (or already hold one).
