Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join a highly successful and inclusive secondary school in Tottenham as a full‑time Teaching Assistant. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help students across Key Stages 3 and 4 reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Support students during lessons to ensure curriculum access.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group interventions as needed.
• Assist pupils with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and student engagement.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people in schools, youth work, mentoring or similar settings.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable attitude.
• Genuine passion for supporting student success.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
