About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Liverpool. You will work closely with teachers to support learners across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support students during KS3 and KS4 lessons
- Deliver targeted interventions and small‑group support
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
- Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
- Provide additional support for pupils with learning needs
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive school atmosphere
Required profile
- Experience working with young people or in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and proactive approach to learning support
- Strong relationship‑building abilities
- Commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
