Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (NW2)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a welcoming secondary school in NW2, London. The role starts in September 2026 on a long‑term basis, working weekdays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (flexible to school needs).
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
- Support individual pupils and groups to enhance learning progress.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment.
Required profile
- Previous school‑based experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to student progress.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
