About the role
The school is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join its secondary school team in Sutton from September 2026. The role supports pupils with moderate learning difficulties and special educational needs across multiple year groups, helping them achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering lesson plans and creating a supportive classroom environment.
- Use agreed strategies to help students meet individual learning goals.
- Support the planning and preparation of learning activities.
- Build constructive relationships with pupils, adapting interactions to their specific needs.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a secondary school setting or a recent graduate aspiring to become a qualified teacher.
