About the role

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small‑group support to students during lessons.
• Assist teachers in preparing learning resources and setting up the classroom.
• Maintain student focus, motivation and a calm learning atmosphere.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions.
• Offer encouragement to develop confidence, self‑esteem and independence.
• Give feedback to teachers on individual student progress.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with young people (schools, youth clubs, coaching, mentoring).
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with teenagers.
• Patient, adaptable and proactive approach to diverse learning styles.
• Eligibility to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK.
