About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a large specialist SEN school in St Albans. The role focuses on supporting pupils with autism and other learning difficulties across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will work closely with teachers to help students make progress and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support to pupils with autism and other special needs.
- Build rapport with students and regularly feed back observations to teachers.
Required profile
- Background in school SEN support, community care or youth work.
- Flexibility and inclusivity to work with a range of special needs.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding in schools.
- Enthusiastic, motivated and a strong team player.
