Teaching Assistant – SEN (Kingston Upon Thames)

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an SEN school in Kingston Upon Thames. You will work in an inclusive environment, providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support to children with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 support to students across physical and mental needs.
- Assist small groups with learning tasks and sensory activities.
- Help integrate students into mainstream classroom routines.
- Collaborate with teachers across year groups to ensure consistent support.
- Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing.
Required profile
- Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and behaviour management.
- Ability to start immediately or as soon as possible.
- Experience working with children who have special educational needs.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ASD, SEMH and behaviour support strategies.
