About the role
Reeson Education is looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated SEN school in Kingston upon Thames. This full‑time position offers the chance to support children with complex needs in a structured, child‑centred environment, helping them access learning and build confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils.
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom routines.
- Encourage pupils' emotional, social and academic development.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to deliver coordinated support.
- Promote independence and positive behaviour in the classroom.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is beneficial.
- Patient, enthusiastic and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
