About the role
This temporary full‑time position offers graduates and career‑switchers a hands‑on experience in a secondary school setting. You will support teachers and students, gaining valuable classroom insight before embarking on teacher training.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils.
- Encourage student engagement and promote positive behaviour.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and well‑managed learning environment.
Required profile
- A degree or working towards one is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for education and helping young people succeed.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliability and commitment to work Monday‑Friday during term time.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (assistance provided).
