About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a vibrant Southwark primary school. The position runs from September 2026 to July 2027 (term‑time only) with additional holiday club work for long‑term staff.
Key responsibilities
- Motivate and encourage pupils, providing reassurance and individual attention.
- Assist with classroom tasks and support learning activities.
- Work with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Collaborate with teachers and staff while also taking initiative when required.
Required profile
- Experience working with children, preferably with SEN experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team and act independently when needed.
- Commitment to high standards of pupil wellbeing and achievement.
