Teaching Assistant – Sports Coach/Graduate (Bristol)

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic sports coaches or recent sports graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Bristol. The role starts immediately or in September and offers a flexible schedule that can fit around your existing coaching, study or other commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers by preparing and organising learning materials for lessons.
- Adapt support to meet the individual needs of pupils.
- Promote the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of children.
- Create a fun and engaging learning environment using a variety of resources.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals to enhance pupil learning.
Required profile
- Passionate about working with children and encouraging active participation.
- Flexible and able to adjust working hours around sport commitments or studies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills are required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
