Teaching Assistant – Support Children with SEN

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Barking and Dagenham. You will work directly with pupils who have Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and other additional needs, helping them develop confidence, communication and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils.
• Assist children with Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and other special educational needs.
• Encourage communication, confidence and independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning experiences.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Care Worker, Youth Worker, Nursery Practitioner or similar.
• Personal experience supporting a child or family member with SEN is welcomed.
• Positive, patient and professional attitude.
• Full‑time availability, Monday‑Friday.
• Genuine passion for helping children succeed.
