Teaching Assistant – Support Pupils in Andover

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across schools in the Andover area. You will work closely with teachers to help learners stay engaged, confident, and on track throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support and assist with small‑group work.
• Help pupils stay focused, engaged, and confident during lessons.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities, resources and lesson delivery.
• Support positive behaviour and encourage routine.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff to foster an inclusive environment.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Patient, supportive and confident in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptable and able to respond to varying pupil needs.
• Reliable and proactive approach.
