Teaching Assistant – Warrington

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to students during lessons.
• Assist teachers in preparing learning resources and setting up the classroom.
• Maintain student engagement, focus, and motivation throughout the school day.
• Help manage classroom behaviour to ensure a calm learning environment.
• Encourage confidence, self‑esteem, and independence in students.
• Provide feedback to teachers on individual student progress.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with young people (schools, youth clubs, coaching, or mentoring).
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
