Teaching Partner – Primary School (Gloucester)

About the role
Academics Ltd is seeking a compassionate Teaching Partner to join a mainstream primary school in Gloucester. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide personalised support for pupils with special educational needs, helping them thrive in an inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson delivery.
- Deliver small‑group or one‑to‑one interventions for pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties.
- Promote positive behaviour and build supportive relationships with students.
- Contribute to a safe, engaging and nurturing learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to work full‑time (8:30‑15:30) in a school setting.
Required skills
- Experience delivering tailored educational interventions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
