Teaching Partner – Support Children with SEN in Gloucester

About the role
Teaching Partner – Gloucester – Mainstream Primary School – ASAP start. Join a welcoming primary school to support pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges. Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support in a calm, inclusive environment. This full‑time role (8:30‑3:30) offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for children with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting teachers with daily classroom activities.
- Delivering small‑group or one‑to‑one interventions to enhance progress.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and relationships.
- Contributing to a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
- Supporting pupils' learning, development, and well‑being alongside teachers.
Required profile
- Passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.
- Empathetic, dedicated and able to work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO.
- Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
