About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Team Administrator to support our Children & Young People (CYP) Service in Luton. Working 37.5 hours per week (09:00‑17:00) at The Poynt, you will be the first point of contact for staff, families, carers and partner organisations, providing comprehensive administrative support.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prioritise and manage a busy workload both independently and as part of a team.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Procure clinical equipment and maintain stock levels.
- Access, update and maintain patient records in the SystmOne system.
- Collect, collate and report data using Microsoft Office tools.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure service continuity.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills, able to manage complex queries.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.
- Resilient when dealing with sensitive calls and information.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using SystmOne electronic patient record system.
- Strong IT literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
