Team Leader – Children’s Home (EBD)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage a residential children’s home in Bedford that supports young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This full‑time position offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to develop within a growing care provider.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise residential staff to ensure high‑quality care.
• Plan, monitor and review individual care plans for children and young people.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that promotes positive behaviour.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
• Provide guidance, training and performance feedback to team members.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a children’s residential setting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Residential Care (essential).
• Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding care.
