Team Leader – Coffee Shop (Blyth, North East England)

About the role

As a Team Leader at Costa Coffee in Blyth, you will oversee daily store operations, ensuring a friendly atmosphere and high‑quality coffee service. You’ll support your team throughout each shift, bringing energy, confidence and a commitment to excellent customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead smooth and efficient shifts, managing staff schedules and store flow.
• Train, coach and support new Baristas, fostering skill development.
• Motivate and energise the team to maintain high service and coffee standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, health and safety standards across the store.
• Adapt resources and solve problems quickly to keep operations running smoothly.

• Reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, positive and confident when leading others.
• Calm, resourceful and adaptable under pressure.
• Previous experience in a team‑leader role or a strong desire to step into one.
