Team Leader – Employment Service (Camden)

About the role

Hestia is seeking a Team Leader to provide operational leadership for its Employment Service in Camden. The role oversees a team of Employment Specialists delivering an Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service for people with severe mental illness and complex mental health needs, ensuring high‑quality, recovery‑focused support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise a team of Employment Specialists, delivering performance management and professional development.
• Ensure service quality and fidelity to IPS contractual standards, monitoring assessments, support plans and caseloads.
• Coordinate employer engagement activities and maintain strong relationships with NHS partners, commissioners and community stakeholders.
• Hold a small personal caseload when required, providing personalised employment support to service users.
• Contribute to service development, compliance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience in IPS, employment support or related mental‑health services.
• Proven track record of leading and developing teams in a target‑driven environment.
• Strong coaching, performance‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and committed to person‑centred, strengths‑based approaches.
• Solid IT competence and understanding of data protection and safeguarding requirements.
